The Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton has been questioned by fans after the latest episode of the hit Bravo show.
Thornton, 38, features on The Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP) alongside co-stars Gizelle Bryant, Wendy Osefo, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby and Candiace Dillard-Bassett, and has been at the center of major drama in the most recent episodes.
The argument began after the women had dined at one of restaurant owner Peter Thomas’ establishments. He is also the former husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Cynthia Bailey.
During the dinner, Thornton accused Osefo of souring a business deal she had been exploring with entrepreneur Thomas, while Osefo later suggested there had been a falling out between Mia, her husband, Gordon Thornton, and Thomas.
During the December 18 episode of RHOP, the truth about Thomas’ relationship with Mia and Gordon was revealed as Mia revealed that she and Gordon had a relationship with Thomas’ current girlfriend, before she had gotten together with Thomas.
The news was revealed after Huger had visited Thornton’s house to discuss the dramatic Miami trip, and let Thornton know that their co-star Bryant had shared some intimate details of conversations that had taken place on the vacation.
“I just visited Gizelle and I promised that I would never hold anything back from you,” Huger told Thornton, adding: “I was told that you and G [Gordon], you’ve had sex with other people together…was it Peter?”
Thornton then confirmed it was Thomas’ girlfriend, not Thomas, that she and her husband had been intimate with.
While the initial conversation seemed jovial, it looks like next episode will see Thornton irritated by Huger discussing the incident with the other ladies.
The preview for next week’s installment shows Thornton saying she’s “not telling Karen s*** else” and confronting Huger at her live show for “running her mouth.”
Fans have been left confused, however, by Thornton appearing to be more annoyed that Huger was talking about the incident than she was at Bryant for sharing the fact that she and her husband have relationships with third parties in the first place.
Taking to Twitter as the preview aired on Bravo, one viewer posted: “Mia had issues with Wendy or Karen for ‘running her mouth’ but never at gizelle for spreading the info around to the group mmm #RHOP.”
While another wrote: “I’m confused. So why is Mia mad at Karen but not mad at gizelle #RHOP.”
“So Mia is mad at Karen for telling s*** but not Gizelle for telling s***? Got it #RHOP,” added a third, while another questioned: “Correct me if I’m wrong Mia but you are the one who divulged this info and you’re mad at Karen? B**** Karen got the tea from Gizelle and you told Gizelle! Like this b***** is so dizzy she don’t remember wtf she be saying and who she says it to! #rhop.”
Other RHOP viewers, however, were quick to celebrate Thornton’s honesty in the episode and praised the star for openly discussing her personal life with her co-stars.
“I love how Karen brought all the things Gizelle said about Mia to Mia and Mia answered every single question not running from a single one. At least she doesn’t shy away. #RHOP,” wrote one Thornton fan.
While another added: “Love the honesty from Mia. Doesn’t happen often. #RHOP.”
Elsewhere on Sunday’s episode of RHOP, Dixon and Bryant invited their co-stars to the live taping of their Reasonably Shady podcast and Dillard-Bassett filmed the music video for her single “Insecure” with rap legend Trina.
Osefo also had to go into hospital to get kidney stones removed and was seen being looked after at home by her family as she recovered from the procedure.
The Real Housewives of Potomac continues Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
