Woman killed in double shooting on Durham highway
Durham police say a woman was killed and a man was injured in a shooting on N.C. 55 late Tuesday night.
Officers responded just before 11 p.m. to the 4500 block of the highway and found the two people who had been shot.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at a hospital. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police released no motive, possible suspects or other details in the case
